Value of 10ae's

What would be the value of a clean 26,000 mile 10ae go for on the market?

10thAE value has been going up over the last 6 months.

Typical value is

trade in: $2,883
private party: $3,675
dealer: $4,996

(with + $1200 for mileage adjustment)

You should clarify that to no one is asking less than $6k... that does not mean they are getting anything even close to that.

The last 4 10thAE models on Ebay all sold for between $3200 and $4600

and it is intresting that last year, you almost never saw a 10thAE sell for more than $3k

Bought my AE with 12k miles for $7500... Which is probably what I'd offer the one with 26k miles. Anything over that seems to be creeping into the FD price tag range.

depends on how stock it is. If it is stock, then that is a good price, but if it has been modified then no... subtract for each modification (the amount that it would cost to return the car back to stock

the story of the car is a gold mine. a widowed wifes husbands car, whos been gone for quite a while now. the car sits in a garage all day all night. its as stock down to the stock tires it came with from the dealers.

Yeah, my 10thAE has only 86k on it, but it is just sitting in my garage waiting for paint.

But I only bought it for $100

Wow, 8 pages of results on that autotrader search. Here in the midwest you'll be lucky to have 1 maybe 2 pages of rx-7's. Thats even a search including all 3 gen's. Never have any for sale around here, let alone 10ae's.

Not necessarily. My AE had the original tires on the AE wheels. They weren't dry rotted at all! Thing is... they're louder than hell!! So I fixed that by buying Rarest's white S5 meshies.... mwhahaha. but new tires are suggested.

blue book value doesn't mean anything when you actually go to sell it. A 1991 vert high retail is $9200 with average miles. low retail is $6000. Nobody in the right mind would pay that much for it, unless the miles are lower than 30k.
