Value of 10ae's
5790 for convertible with 50k miles year 1991 ....it also has a lot to do with your zip code...Like i said..you can't expect to sell a 10th aniv to just anyone and get the most money out of it...if you want to get more then sell it to an enthusiast.
I bought an 88 base with a blown apex seal (rest of the car was beautiful... and perfect) for $500. I bought a crappy GXL that ran alright for $1800. List it on ebay for 7500 and i'd bet somebody will bid eventually
it might take a few weeks, but i bet somebody would bid

I'd say 5500 is a good deal, maybe not a steal, but a solid deal. Especially with that low of miles.
The only bad part is I couldn't mod it if it was mine. A car like that, with low miles, should (IMO) be kept stock, original, clean and covered. If you really want a modded 10th AE, I'd buy the 26k mile car and a $500 beater to make a project

I traded a non running eagle talon TSI for my 10ae (also non running at the time) The talon was worth maybe $600. Now that i have mine running and some mods applied to it, i wouldn't sell it for anything under 4500 or 5k, somewhere in that range. And if someone told me they would deduct from the sale price for all the mods, theres no way that'd be done. I figure, at 114,000 miles on it, even though it was in awesome shape, its still meant to be a driver and built to take advantage of some of it's potential.
