vacuum lines and other things...Pretty please help me!!?

Hi! A few questions. For background info this car is a 1990 N/A, the engine is a 1991 j-spec

I'm (hopefully) nearing the finish line of my TII conversion here. But I have some issues with routing of vacuum lines. I have two that come out from under the oil filler neck. I have the vacuum diagram but it's not clear on there where these two lines are supposed to go to. They don't go anywhere right now...Does anyone know where they should go?

And on the intercooler piping, on the side where the turbo is there is a pipe that connects the turbo to the intercooler. There is a piece broken off mine. It looks like it should have a tube or a nipple of some sort on it but it's all cracked off. My engine is J-spec and on mine it's a plastic pipe that connects the turbo to the intercooler, I believe on some it's metal.

Should I just go with some sort of cai or aftermarket intake right from the start or should I try to get the factory mazda parts for the intake. Does anyone have a link to a writeup on making a cai that a beginner to modding could follow? I have loads of mechanical knowlegde, unfortunatly I'm just starting to gain tuning info so I'm sort of lost.

If ya'll could help a newbie out here I'd greatly apreciate it. I live in a little backwater town where I know about as much about this car as the local mazda dealer does so I'm SOL for help locally.

Thanks in advance,
Tempest.

Oil filler neck - cap the lower one & vent the upper one (oil pan vent) by way of a catch can to atmosphere.

Any extra nipples on the IC would be for AWS air source. Just cap them unless you want the AWS.

CAI is always better. Home made works.
If you're in a hurry the NA snorkel & filter box will work with the turbo AFM.

I think this pipe on the intercooler really should have something attatched to it. I may have to try and take pics and post them to see if anyone knows exactly what it is.

Thanks for the info on the two under the oil filler neck. They look like they're supposed to go to the wastegate and the air intake based on the vacume diagram....Confusing!

The turbo to the IC? I remember 2 hoses on my IC, a big one going to the AWS or some goofy solenoid on top of the LIM and then a small one going to a TB nipple if I remember right.

A picture would be great.

Thanks.
