Vacuum leak noise from my AFM...

For some reason my AFM has started making a noise just like that of a massive vacuum leak... I don't remember it ever doing that before. I don't think it's a vacuum leak, it's just the sound of air going through the AFM, but it started at the same time that my vacuum leaks started, so I figure it's related.

Any ideas as to why?...

The car doesn't respond to starting fluid AT ALL, unless you spray it into the intake directly (which makes the idle go down for some reason). My vacuum gauge is still reading a little low, and it still won't idle when cold, so there's still a leak...somewhere.

I guess I'll go buy some rubber fittings to pressurize the system with a compressor to listen for leaks.

And for the record, the oil leak I thought was coming from the back actually seems to have come from the front of the engine... it just ran along the rim of the oil pan till it dripped off at the rear.

Maybe I'll just put 20w50 in it...lol
