I am almost done putting the engine back in my car and I'm a bit confused.
1.There is a metal pipe under the manifold on top of the block. On the right side it goes to the intake and then has five nipples (4 of which are for the oil injectors). What does the left side of the pipe connects to?
2.Right next to the said pipe there is something on the rear iron that had a hose connected to it, what is it for?
I also removed the oil injection system but I don't really have time to go to the hardware store for bolts (I'm moving). Is it a problem if I leave the injectors there for a few days?
I'll post a pic in a few minutes.

If you leave the injectors there, be sure to plug them and that spigot on the rear of the engine is for coolant I believe. I think that pipe needs to be either capped or have a vacuum line connected somewhere.
It's kinda vague since I have an s5 t2 now but I can imagine what you're talking about

Your S5 ECU is going to be unhappy without the MOP and put you in limp mode.
The charts in the 1st 7 pages of the fuel & emissions section of the factory manual layout all the plumbing.
You can download from my copy of the manual at the link in my sig.
(And - put some tape or a rag over the intake ports before something falls in there.)

Alright I most be blind or something... By looking at the manual I figured that the thing coming out of the rear side housing is going to the manifold and then to the water pump but I still don't know what do I need to connect to the metal pipe for the vaccum (#1). Any help?

I don't own nor have ever see a S5 na, BUT on a series four non turbo car, that piping goes from the intake duct you described, on over to the left rear side of the engine, and it feeds filtered air to the BAC and the ???????AWS valve on a series four non turbo engine.
Looking at the FSM it appears there are TWO hose coming off that intake duct. One to the BAC and the other to the AWS solenoid (left side of engine).
Maybe someone with a S5 na will say a thing or two.

Yup there is two hoses. The shorter one goes to the BAC but it's the longuer hose that is annoying me. It goes from the duct to the said metal pipe. I made the mistake of letting someone else disconnect everything under the manifold so now I've hit a wall. I don't see anything it could connect to other than the UIM but none of the hoses I have left seem to connect them. It's one PITA of a puzzle.

You are probably right, I'll look it up and report once I have time.
edit: I finnaly found a proper diagram and discovered the accelerated warp-up solenoid is on the UIM which is where I though the hose was supposed to connect but it doesn't. I guess it didn't hold it's shape.
