Vaccum Leak?

I found an 87' RX-7 online being sold for $1000. The listing mentions it's well maintained, adult owned & driven. I called the guy about it and from what I was told over the phone was that it has 114k miles on the engine. He said it's been garaged for about 3 years, but I guess he's done routine maintenance on it. Anyway I was told it has a manual transmission, new tires, recent brakes. He says the Passenger side door I think it was, was hit, but they have a new door for it. He says it runs, but it has a vacuum leak. He says it will start up but won't hold an idle for long. Like I said according to him it drives, it just won't idle without stalling. I'm going to go check it out and I'll give any more details. I was just curious as to what you guys think. Does this sound right? If it is just a vacuum leak, would that be a fairly cheap fix and make the car worth it?
