well when moving @ highwayspeed and proper hood and front ducting its great....BUT....when stationary its not every effective...because it needs flow moving constantly and without fans...welll its jsut sitting... BUT it shortens the distance the air has to travel reducing lag a bit....(its more like inbetween front mount and topmount.) but it requires some fabbing and your car to be moving more for the flow....to be effecient

How efficient it is depends on how it is set up.
Mine, the BLUE TII in the pics isn't a V-mount at all. It is really a Horizontal mount IC as the IC has its own ducting completely seperate from the radiator.
Mine is great for engine temps as it allowed for a much larger thicker 26" x 19" radiator and it gets all the airflow to the radiator from the stock bumper opening. It is good for IC temps as the front rubstrip in the bumper is cut out for the IC inlet and is ~1/2 the size of the stock bumper's radiator opening so it gets plenty of flow. Having the IC horizontal allows heat to rise out of the core at lower speeds when airflow is low.

I have injector envy!
argg. why would you need a fan on the intercooler. It would just restrict flow whenyou are moving...thats what an intercooler is for......cooling air entering the engine while you are moving. A radiator needs a fan because when you are parked there is still 200 degree coolant flowing through that needs to be cooled
