Using a TOW DOLLY for an 88 S4 with 5 Speed...
I was curious as to whether you can pull on a Tow Dolly without disconnecting the
drive shaft and leaving the tranny in neutral...I've coasted from time to time like this (for tests, etc) and it seems pretty smooth...is it likely to jump from Neutral into some gear ? 1200 mile tow...what do you guys recommend ?

i towed my car 400 some miles across two states on a tow dolly and had no problems with it at all. All I did was put the car in nuetral and release the parking brake. Make sure you secure the car to the dolly properly and drive slow!

however fast you feel comfortable driving with your car on the back!
Remember that the trailer is 2 tire widths wider than the rx-7. It gets very very nerve wracking in construction zones!
