can you mix s5 rotors with an s4 flywheel if you use the s4 counterweight?

No, the S5 rotors MUST use the S5 counterweights. The S5 rotors weigh less.

Mark, Im afraid you're wrong on this. s5 turbo and nonturbo rotors weigh the same...between 9.6 and 9.8lb (bearing installed). The s4 turbo and nonturbo rotors weigh the same, between 10.1 and 10.3 (bearing installed). I have a shelf full and a digital scale accurate to 1/100th of a lb...I took each 4 of each rotor and weighed them.

Hmmm.... I could have swore that the last S5 Turbo rotor I weighed was 9.8 and the last S4 non turbo rotor I weighed was 9.9

But it sounds like there is more than an ounce on your scale... and with your vast experience on that I'll go with your answer, ignore my last post in this thread.
