Using headers and converting to single exhaust ??? How do u do it ? (87 na 6port)

I want to get some headers for my na rx7, problem is it seems all the racing beat stuff is only made to hook up to their stuff (y pipes etc), i want to get some headers (keep the actuation of my 5/6ports) and run a corksport catback exhaust on it...maybe a highflow cat too .... just want everything to work right and connect together properly, and have enuf backpressure to open my 5/6 ports... i really dont know what i can use but im having trouble figuring it out... the entire exhaust for my rx7 at racingbeat is like 900 bucks or so, im str8 with paying that much, plus i want single exhaust .. anyone got any combos they used or anything ?

u dont use the racing beat presilencer ? u have the flowmaster cat attached to the header ? how does it connect ? i know the header i want has two holes on the flange for a true dual operation but i want to make it run single

Im planning on running a single exhaust , the corksport also

you can connect the header to what ever you want. if you arent using the rb road race header you can use the regular one with a presilencer and corksport cat back and still have your ports work.

if you use the road race one it connects to the ports from the header. after that you can hook up what ever you want if you have the right flanges

i have the racing beat streetable/header collector... it has a single exit on the flange and bolts on to pretty much any ole cat...i really like it...i bought the car with it from the previous owner and it also had a straight pipe...i put the flowmaster on to pass emissions but i wanna go back to straight thru...in my opinion i think it is great...tho im sure the true dual whole exhaust setup is way sicker...but at least with this u can go any setup u want

hope this helps

im prolly gonna get the roadrace header, not the one u got ... i just dont know how im gonna get the right flanges and **** if i dont use their presilencer, i dont think i could use str8 pipe cuz it wont let my 5/6 ports open if theyre isnt enough backpressure

if you get the road race header it already has a slip air pipe to open the 5/6 ports. the purpose for it is to do true dual. if you get the normal header you should also get the presilence because it has a split air pipe for the ports
