Used engine question
Hi all,
i have an opportunity to buy a used 1987 rotary engine, the engine is out of the car and has been in storage for 10 years or so, the man im buying it from assures me that there is still compression and and it should have no problem running, my question to everyone here is if you guys have n e recomendations or tricks to check the engine before i buy it to be sure that it in fact will run when put into my car. thanks in advance.

wow, 10 years? If he "pickled" it well (layer of oil or other preservative all over EVERYTHING), it might be O.K., although I don't know if I would trust the rubber internal seals after that long...
