usdm vs. jdm 13bt

Hi guys, I just got a s4 13bt and I've been taking the emission off like it says from RR site. I've noticed it doesn't have some things on it like EGR or subzero start valve, no thermowax. Where does the hardline coming from the can on the exhaust manifold hook up to after I've removed all the emissions? I'm farely new to the rotary scene (8 months) and am trying to learn as much as possible.

Thanks, Tony

areyou talking about the Split air pipe? well that gets removed with your air pump, acv, and cats. your s4 doesnt have EGR? thats odd...do you have block off plates?

I assume you mean there's no thermovalve, which is mounted on the US-spec thermowax. All FC's came with a thermowax, but J-spec engines didn't have the thermovalve, sub-zero start valve or EGR valve.

Not everything on the vac rack is emission controls. You're talking about the twin-scroll control system, and you need a couple of components off the rack to make it work (a solenoid and a check valve). They must be replumbed exactly as per the schematic on page 4B-53 of the FSM.
