some help plz
i am recently hearing some annoying sound like the sound of the glass when you clean it very well or something and it's getting louder. at the begining i thought it was the breaks need to be changed and i think they do need to be changed but the thing is that the sound only appears when you take of your foot from the gas peadl on 2nd or 1st gear i didn't pay any attention for the 3rd gear and it disappears when i put the gear on neutral but when i put it back to 2nd or 1st while it's moving or even when i start it and start moving (ihear it just when it's moving) i hear the sound back again and when i push the gas pedal it disappers ( i don't hear the sound when i move backward).
does any one have any idea about what is going on?

I assume S5 FC3s?
where is the sound? front, back, inside the car, under? Is it louder when you roll one or both windows down?
I had a sound like "Clean glass" with a bad pilot, but i got it on starts from a stand still not just heavy deceleration.

Bad U-joint! Replace it before you snap your driveshaft and break the shifter mechanism off the transmission.
BTW these cars are all fc3s. Not fc4s or fc5s. All of them are fc3s. S4 or S5 refers to the series. An S3 car would be an Fb.

as far as i know you u-joints are not replaceable unless you have an after market. put the car on jack stands crawl under it and check for play by trying to move the drive shaft by hand. the only way there should be any play it rotational. there may be a heat shield in the way as there was one oem but they are missing more times than not.

Yeah, could be a U-joint. Definately give that a good check.
It could be a bushing or suspension joind that's getting dry and squeaky. WHen you let off the gas, the front of the car shough dip a bit which compresses the suspension. Do you hear it when you go over bumps as well? If so, that could be worth checking.

no i hear it just when i am about to move and when i am changing gears from 5th, 4, 3 to 2nd to slow down the car for a traffic light or a turn.
ok but why the noise doesn't comeout when i move backward or on 3rd 4th gear if it's a universal joint?
and how possible that it could be hurt?
and is it possible to get it from a wracked 86,87 rx7 and fit on 91rx?

For clarity's sake, you can not replace the u-joint driveshafts, only aftermarket driveshafts have that option.
If you think it's the driveshaft, either buy an aftermarket one or look for a used one.
I have one, but I don't think you'd want to pay for shipping, look around your regional forum classifieds.

I've done it, works just fine. BTW, most driveshaft shops won't do it either. They don't want to warranty it, so they'd rather make you pay $400 for them to build one. I had NO problem replacing mine. The new ones are nice too; they come with grease fittings. A couple squirts of grease each oil change keeps them nice and lubed up for the entire life of the car.

Anyway, in order to positively identify the problem the OP should probably inspect the driveshaft prior to rebuilding it.
Bingo. the problem with replacing press fit u joints is you can over / under compress the caps making them fail early or have it installed off center throwing off the balance and hurting more than just the new u joints.

You were right, the stock driveshafts don't have replaceable u-joints.
i don't konw but i left it up today the drive shaft is tight i don't think that there is any thing wrong with it and so does the u-joint.
this isn't just my diagnoses but tow other guys too, transmision specialists.
