The way I did it, on my 90 NA motor, was to use the primary rail from an 86 NA which is cast aluminum. The casting has enough meat to it to allow it to be tapped for a 3/8 NPT/-AN adapter. For the upper rail I used a 90 stamped rail and had -AN fitting brazed on. It would be nice to use the earlier upper rail but the mounting tabs are different. The upper rail had to have the stock regulator cut off and capped. It took us a couple tries to get a good braze that wouldn't leak also. But that's how I did it.
