Upgrade oil bypass valve, what else during rebuild?

Getting a street ported short block to swap with my blown coolant seal engine. Should I get a higher pressre obv? Also, what else should I get or do while I'm doing this besides clutch and flywheel? (emissions already removed).

I am convinced I have my job solely based on my ability to decode TLA (three letter acronyms) handed down from above. In this case, I think he means Oil Bypass Valve.

oh sorry, don't know why I shortened it. Yeah, its the oil bypass valve. The stock is 60psi I think and the upgrade is adjustable like 70-80 (its on Mazdatrix).

Get a oil pan baffle while your at it, it cools oil somewhat , and also keeps your oil pressure from dropping at high PRM's due to foaming. They can be had cheaply and you'll need 2 oil pan gaskets. I recommend using Haylomar (its the bomb digity sealant but is kinda pricey) The Hayes Rotary oil pan baffles are MsO2 coated.

I would not recommend getting the (stock) gaskets unless you replace all of the oil pans bolts (with longer ones).&nbsp The sandwich (especially with two of them) of gaskets and oil pan baffle makes it too thick for some of the bolts (usually corners) to thread on securely.&nbsp We use a thin coat of RTV to seal everything up, and this is a lot more secure with the stock oil pan bolts.
