apexi filter or intake kit? the kit they only make for the S5 intake which doesn't need that adapter. i don't know what the diameter of their filters are...or if they sell them by themselves. you might need a custom adapter piece sized to it.

Id just stick with the filter you got, or go to the local parts store and get a K&N cone filter. The filters arent that much different to warrant the $60+ your going to spend on a "name brand" one.

Is that one of those SuperStreet filters??? I'm asking because it looks like the top/front is solid "chrome". If so...yea I'd DEFINATELY get a new filter (I don't know about the APEXi one, but whatever floats your boat). That filter is very much "show" (not even a really good show) and no go. It's better than stock, but not up there with the other filters. Yea, and you should really upgrade your exhaust too in order to really feel a great difference (I'm sure you're tired of hearing that...and you're probably already planning it anyway). I did the turn signals by the way...how did you do it?

oh really? i thought the apexi was the best, that one link that someone did tests on all the major filters (HKS, APEXi, K&N, Blitz, etc.) and thier results was that the APEXi not only had a super clean test paper but it was also one of the best increases in performance, is all this not true? what filter would you guys recommend? i see a lot of people with the HKS, but what about the whole foam issue? the one i have is not the super steet one, its some no name company Hiper 5th one down on this website.

you think i didnt feel a diference because of the exhaust? that could explain it i guess, because i DO have nasty exhaust leak, and i plan on getting a Bönez Race Pipe soon, so hopefully i will feel a significant increase in performance.
