Has any one done this? If so, can you give some guidance?
I have removed the kick panel, pulled the dead pedal.
I find one nut on the bottom of the fuse box. I have pulled the three large plugs on the left side of the box. The box will wiggle a little back and forth. I can raise the bottom of the box about 2 inches, then I feel resistance.
Found this while struggling to remove mine, couldn't really find an answer to what should be an easy operation so hopefully this will help someone in the future who runs across removing the cabin fuse box.
There's a 10mm bolt on the bottom, there's NO second upper bolt. The reason why OP could wiggle it around is there's a big plastic "U" clip holding the box. Here's a picture of the bastard, below it you can see where the stud where the 10mm bolt goes.
This clips into the upper portion of the fuse box, thing is when you go to squeeze the pointy end tabs of this "U" clip it doesn't look like it's meant to be removed that way and I had to use a jeweler's flat head screwdriver to pry the tabs to get the box removed.
Here you can see the back of the fuse box and "U" clip. The clip is attached to the body what looks like depression points but with the fuse box attached I couldn't remove it that way when I tried because of how limited the space is behind it.
