Uh oh...
Alright, I was in a stereo comp today at my local car show (Placed 6th) and before I left, I was reving her with my friends pretty high (7500 max). I cruised through town and went to my favourite racing road to let her rip for my own pleasure. Shifting high and quick, I was going back home.
I began to notice a weird exhaust sound, something more tinney and loud almost like a Civic. I got home and looked to find my one muffler about an inch above the ground. Appearently it severed from the pipe right before the muffler and the tip ooks kinda blackish. (Would post pics but bro took camera on a road trip) Now, I have to wait until tommorow for my neighbour to open his muffler shop before I can check it out, but I'm not sure how bad the situation is.
Any ideas on how to tell if its salvagable or not? or is this the car telling me that it wants a nice performance muffer system?

Update: I've pulled the muffler off and it looks very unfixable. Appearently the person who did the last exhaust job forgot to attach the part where the pipe and muffler join up onto a rubber holder, so it couldn't bear the weight anymore and broke right inside the muffler. Crap.
So my options are to get a normal muffler, or go full out and get myself some performance ones. Any recommendations for aftermarket mufflers that aren't too expensive?
