ugh starting issues

ugh. i've given up.
i have a t2 here that i removed the emitions systems on. and relocated the battery to the passenger compartment.
well here is the deal, i have idle problems so i went out yesterday to check for vacuume leaks and readjust the tps if need be. so i remove the IC and try to start the car. however, the car will not start, so i put the IC back. then i get this it will start but die near instantly. nothing i could do would make it stay alive. mmmmk. so i try starting fluid, and that doesn't work. i try deflooding it, nothing works. i wait 24 hours and try all of the above again. still no start. last weekend i drove this car down the street and it was fine aside from the idle problems. now, no go at all.
any advice?

The engine will not run unless the intercooler piping is connected completely starting at the air cleaner through the air flow meter to turbo inlet, through turbo outlet up into intercooler, out of intercooler and into the throttle body. Make sure ALL hoses are securely connected and that none of the rubber components have cracks or holes.
