Question Tyres?

I know this should be in the Wheels,Tyres etc section but beeing a Gen 2 T2 i thought you guys would be better help.

My question is what is the best Wheel/Tyre combo for the Gen 2 Rx7?

I have two options, ither the 18" or 17" i want them for the handling and looks so price is'nt realy to inportant.

I have been told to go for the 17" option (17x7.5 ft & 17x9 rear) with 225/45/17 on the ft and 265/40/17 on the rear, does this sound right? and would it make that much diffrence going 17" over 18"?

Thanks...

16s, you cant fit anything wider than 225 in the front anyway, so why get 17s. Also stagger tire will mess your cars balance up rea l bad

Ok at the moment i am runing it as bought, 245/40/18" tyres allround with 18x8 rims? so you can run big tyres.

Have a look some of the FC's about they have 17/18's fitted?

Also have you ever tryed to drive a 450bhp car in the wet with 225's on the rear?
