I just noticed the other day that my car has two different aero mirrors on it. The driver side has a nice oval flowing shape to it, where as the passenger side is smaller and has a more rectangular shape to it. Idk if there were two different ones from factory or what but I guess I just never payed much attention.

 

S5 is the oval one and s4 is the rectangular one

 

That's kinda what I was figuring. I never knew the s4 has aero mirrors though. Were they on the 10th AE?

 

the Turbo, GTU and i think the verts got the aero mirrors 86-88

 

I have them on my GTU.

 

I didnt have them on my GXL. Maybe it was an accessory put on at the ports?

 

the S4 gxl didn't get the aero mirrors. it got the good looking regular ones

 

Oh for some reason I read GXL and not GTU. Man I really need my vision checked hahaha

 

well if you can't tell the difference between AAS, ABS, DTSS, GXL, GTU, GTUs, VDI, AFM, and 6 pies, then maybe you're dyslectic?

I am freakin heavily dyslectic, half the time when I am trying to talk I mix up words and numbers (while not often, sometimes with each other).

I just began to notice the same about my mirrors but never stopped to look at it closely enough to really pick up on it. I like the S4 shape much better.

I had a similar problem of not being able to tell the difference, until I bought the wrong ones. I bought S4's when I really wanted S5's, and now I'm stuck with them, trying to sell them and make up what I spent.
