Twisting oil filler base
Twisting oil filler base
I installed an FD oil filler base. It's being stubborn. I need to twist it a bit more, but can't. Previous methods were to install FC oil filler tube and wack it with a rubber mallet. I got it close. Now I have a custom filler tube, and some light wacks won't do it. I don't want to ruin my new parts.
Any methods you guys have to twisting these? I don't want to ruin the threads on te base. I was thinking of taking a large piece of flat stock, drilling two holes, and bolt + nut it for more support.?
