Twin Scroll Flapper Removal Question

So the time has come for the twin scroll to go in the junk box and step one would be removing the flapper from the manifold. The problem is I cant figure out how to get it out of there. The actuator isnt connected to the arm anymore the thing seems to be jammed inside the manifold. So my question is how the hell do you get the flapper out?

cut it off at the shaft. Then drill and tap the shaft hole, insert metal pipe plug

I was just going to put a big fat bead of weld on it, but yeah I guess the plasma cutter gets to eat a twin scroll flapper door

Ive read that writeup a couple of times and its basically what im doing but I meant more specifically how do you get the actual flapper out from inside the manifold? There isnt any room to slide it back and forth. Im probably just going to use the plasma cutter carefully and hope I dont put a hole in the manifold.

Not to be a jerk but this topic has been argued to death and back again, just search for twin scroll and create your own opinion

BFH

Pound on the lever with anything heavy.
It'll torque right off.

Um, for my GReddy EGT gauge?

Yeah, it's a bit confusing, but I did both at the same time, so the write-up covers both procedures.
