yes, this ia very basic system... it is radically easy to test. How can you work on your car and not have a multi-meter. Without one, there not much further you can go in testing.

and I wouldn't swap the whole 91, too many glitches in the electrical system (S5 electrical systems make the S4 system look like Toyota designed it).

Alright, i'm pretty much screwed though, i'm no good at this kinda of diganosis, electrical that is and this car HAS to be street legal i'll try inspecting the harness and bulbs etc. a bad connector at a light wouldnt make the entire system fail would it? Maybe a ground loose?

well, it doesn't get any more basic:

If they are not working on both the turn and the hazards, then either the CPU is bad, the power is bad, the output from the CPU is bad, or the wires are not connected to the lights.

And if you can't go to Home Depot or Radio shack to get at least a $20 meter (something that every single person that works on cars should have) to test the wires to see which one of the above has the problem... well yeah, you are screwed.

Check the CPU again, not the one on the passenger floor board, but the body CPU that's under the drivers side of the dash near your left leg. Take it out and open it up, make sure that there is no bad solder joints. I had that problem and re-soldered it, now it works. Just a suggestion, not sure if you are talking about swapping the main ECM into the other car, or the actual body CPU.

when you get it, lets confirm that the Black/Blue has 12+ volts on it, The black has ground on it.

then we can start testing the outputs.

Im glad your posted this, cause i tried awhile ago, and got NO replies.

Im haveing almost the exact same problem.

My Left hand blinkers do not work. bulbs are brand new, hazards only turn the right side blinkers on. the switch only turns the right side blinkers on.

I hear a clicking for the left side.

Same deal as static?

In your case; probably a bad CPU flasher board

I know this thread is sorta old. but, i have some questions. Static did you ever get the problem fixed? and Icemark. Will an S4 cpu flasher board, or the whole cpu work in an S5 car. Ive pulled my bored out, and im unable to see any bad solder joints, so im considering just getting a whole nother cpu from another 7

However the turn signal switches are not.

ive got the same problem, hazards work fine, but the right side signal dosent. icemark, you said that it could be the bulb? but why would the hazard work, and not the signal??
