turn signal beeper

is there any way to get rid of the turn signal beeper?? if so where is it and how do you do it?? the reason i ask is i was impatient and installed my sparco steering wheel and did not line up the two little nubs that turn the signal off when you complete a turn and they broke off. now when ever i go some where i drive with the constant beep beep beep. i have thought about beating my self in the head untill my eardrums burst so i dont hear it. right now i just listen to my music really loud!! thanks for all of your input. and try to keep the busting of ***** to a minimum

You would have to unplug the power steering computer.

and it is the power steering beeper, not the turn signal beep... there isn't a turn signal beeper.

and your bump has been deleted. Bumps are forbidden in the 2nd gen technical section.

"why is it that it only happens when i use my turn signal??? "

There is no "hey grandma you left your turn signal on" beeper for turn signals designed into the 1st of 2nd gen RX7. Most likely when you mashed things down you damaged your steering wheel angle sensor (what mark is infering) just enough that hitting the turn signal lever is just enought to send it over the edge. If the beeps have a regular pause, that confirms it.

Better, go to any pic a part junk yard and get a replacement. Not exactly a high demand item, so shouldn't cost very much. You power steering really does like to see a functioning steering wheel angle sensor.

Icemark is on the money. You damaged your steering angle sensor....replace it. Unplug the P/S computer until you do.

The beeps are b.b.b.b.b.......b.b.b.b.b.....b.b.b.b.b., right?

When you hear them, turn the wheel from lock to lock, and they go away for a bit, right?
