Have you checked out Aaron Cake's webpage? I have read through most of it and its really good stuff for DIY'ers. IIRC it is aaroncake.net If not just PM him for the proper link.

Seems reasonable to me, if your talking about DACs post. No I don't know him or anything about him, but have been going the same route, slowly....very slowly. Sort of a whenever I feel like it project. Thinking about it is what is slowing me down. Front mount intercooler or buy a turboii hood (not easy or cheap) and use a top mount. That's my stumbling block plus no need to hurry.

I have a s4 turboII lower intake manifold that ported like that (its for sale if anyone is interested). We used it on a GSL-SE turbo project. The whole turbo conversion was very easy to do. The GSL-SE only uses two injectors. Since we used an FC upper intake manifold, we put some extra injectors on the secondary fuel rail and controlled them using an additional injector controller. We used a racing beat downpipe, cat replacement pipe and an Apexi N1 exhaust, cone filter and the stock turboII intercooler. I have an FD (DP & Catback) and this little first gen was faster than it. Im surprised more people havent gone this route for turboing their cars.
