If that's true, you must have a V8 in that thing. My TII only has 47,000 original miles on it. If I drop the clutch too quickly, it will barely pull the skin off a banana! All RX7s (I've had 4) have been like this. At 1000 RPM that thing is practically idling. I can assure you it's not going up a hill in 2nd gear from 1000 RPM.

my old TII had approx 120k miles original engine.... it wasn't even taken care of. engine basically gave out all the apex seals were extremely worn
