header reworking?

Is it possible to fit a 13B header onto a 12A engine?




What would I need to do to make it work, or should I send it back?


This is for a buddy of mine outta state.

I have heard that all the stuff will swap in and out. not sure on the facts though. just try it. if it works it works if it don't then it don't

Being that the 13B rotors are 10mm wider than 12A rotors, my guess is no. Never tested this but Im pretty sure they will not be interchangable.

Cut the flange off and weld on a 12a flange. With some minor bending of the pipe you could make it do.

Well heres the question,which header is it

The road race header which comes out as 2 and flange off as 2,

You can cut the flang in the middle then cut the flange off at the end,Running long primaries (exhast pipes) are suppose to be good for single exhast set up and they "y" it before it gets to the back.Thats 1 way you can do it

If its the 2-1 header you can cut the main flange in the middle , then cut the spot where the 2 pipes connect so you have 2 peices then get an idea how much space you need between them and then just weld 1 big pipe connecting to the 2 other ones,you can flange off that connecting pipe also,or

Just send the bitch back and get the right one

Tony you are a fool and would have lost to my car 6 months ago....


This header bit was for a member of my club way up in NC and he got the header and asked me, but since 12As are for kids, that do not know how to tune FI.. Thats why you knew the anwser.


I had the header swapped out before you even posted, I knew the answer, but like I said I was helping a kid with his 12A... Just like I will school you and your 12A.any day you want...

Please just keep your mouth shut from here on out..Your not really giving any help, just being a stupid little punk following me around the internet... go tune your 12A kid...lol cause you will need it..If I was you, I would put some Naws on it..your gonna need it..

Tuning a 12A is simple **** kid! SIMPLE.....


Making a FI 13B run good involves a little more to it than your Kid Connection 12A!

And you think the only adjustments for a Stock engine is TPS...


Thats why we call you the KID Connection. When we wanna hear silly stories about this kid who is gonna build this monster B-ported engine with a T-88 turbo on it with 3 carbs, we just talk to Tony and the fun begins...
