don't know too much about rotaries, the little i do know i've learned reading up and down this forum. i'm possitive i could get that price down a WHOLE lot. just curious about that compression in first rotor problem? what does that mean? what it need a rebuild? how much more $$ would we be talking about? need some help, getting desperate. next t2 is some 80-90 miles away... and about 3k more HELP!

Looks exactly like my car (cept mine doesnt have those gay racing stripes) and mine has no compression on the rear rotor. I paid 1000$ CDN for mine, which is like 680$ US. Not a bad deal I suppose. But 2500$ US is totally out of the question.
It will cost 1000$ US to buy a good jspec. Or roughly 1800$ for a rebuild, probably more. Since it blew the engine probably has gotten damaged, so you will need a new housing/rotor. That tacks on another good 500$. Rebuilds get expensive quickly, even more so when it blew. Mine was going to cost so much to rebuild and replace damaged parts its cheaper for me to buy a reman.
