turboII problem help appreciated
Well after searching the forums I couldnt find a thread talkin about the same problem I have so heres the problem:
1987 turboII (mods:intake, emmisions removed, 8mm spark cables, exhaust)
-when i turn on the car (cold motor) it turns on with one or a few tries but idle doesnt go above 1k rpms and the idle is slightly erratic (bouncy "brap brap brap" idle that resembles a bridgeported rotary sorta).
-once its a warmed up i need to hold gas to idle
-when motor is warm/hot i either have to hold down the gas pedal all the way or take off the egi comp fuse from the motor crank it up for 10 sec and then try again (like if it was flooded) but after these methods it still takes various attempts.
-after a couple days its gotten worse and power loss is noticed and the car bogs when i move from a stop.
what can the problem be? all help is greatly appreciated, im thinking about taking it to mazdatrix or rotary shack since its the closest rotary mechs from where i live even thought theyre pricey. but if somebody can reccomend somebody else thats cool too (i live near LAX). thanks

check your TPS.
BUY A VOLTMETER and have fresh batteries.
do this:

if you check it and you see it off of the 1K ohm adjust it. make sure the car is FULLY warmed up.
good luck and don't freak out just yet.
