Thanks again!

I've never watched South Park, so I don't know about the head shaking thing...That show is just too low brow for me. Potty humour...

As far as the car, I hit 5 PSI on the way home from work...Managed to break the tires loose in 2nd gear, but saw orange on the A/F guage. So I will have to probably decrease fuel around 3500 RPM, and increase from 4000RPM up in high throttle. Low throttle needs a lot less fuel at around 4K.

FWIW, the car hits boost HARD. Hardly any noticable lag at all. Everything sounds good. Turbo whistles, BOV valves...uh...blows off, transmission screams for mercy.

I will have to add a heat shield to the turbo since that thing is just a massive heat source under the hood, and my oil cooler lines seem to be leaking slightly. One is leaking at one of the connections, so it may just be loose. I'll try tightening, and if that doesn't fix it, stop by the hose shop and have them take a look. My hoses are lifetime guaranteed to 500 PSI, so they should not be leaking at ~60 PSI. Oh well, if that's the only problem I have, I'll be happy.

Way to go Aaron!

Instead of moving on to your next project have you considered offering your creation as a kit? You know, a real working NA->turbo conversion at a real good price that everybody with an NA will ask you a million questionsa about, but nobody actually buys

Oh wait, that's been done already too

Sweet job Aaron. I good tidings on you and your car. May the car gods give her a long lifetime as a turbo N/A. But now we can't really say that she is a turbo N/A can we. So a sweet *** turbo. Tina is a good name.

Update: I blew my engine this morning. No compression on the rear rotor.

Just kidding! I actually drove my mom to work this morning, and said something like:

Me: Want to know what boost is?
Her: No
Me: *floors pedal*
Her: Holy ****!

LOL. It was priceless. I didn't do any tuning last night because I decided that a full wash, wax and detail was more important for the time being. The car is running REALLY rich everywhere but idle, so I really need to sit down for a few hours and just mess with the S-AFC.

As I was coming back from lunch today, there was this ricer that kept getting lined up with me at intersections...3 or 4 of them at least...He kept revving his fart tip equipped Corolla until I finally looked over:

Him: Nice car. Is it fast?
Me: *is he serious?* Um, yeah.
Him: Race?
Me: No
Him: *****.
Me: *roll up window, crank "Du Hast"*

...light turns green...

Me: What the hell...*floors it*

Spun the tires through first gear, spun them into second...looked at the boost guage...8PSI?!? Yikes...A/F nearing the endo the orange...this is bad. Let of throttle and stop at next light. The ricer guy shows up about 10 seconds later and pulls up behind me... LOL.

Also, I have put a copy of those vidoes on the server at work. Please don't hammer it since it is used for other things besides my videos...

Way to go Aaron! There's nothing finer/better than seeing something you built/designed with your own two hands come to life. Unless people have built a project like this, they don't know what real doubt is! Is it going to start? Is it going to blow up when it starts? Am I wasting my money? But when it starts and you hear the rotary's song there is nothing sweeter! Once again Way To Go!

I wonder how much power you are putting out.

Can I get a list of mods?

Is your w/g ported?

How are you looking at your a/f ratios? Stock O2 sensor or wideband?

Mad props dude!

Hey ted, look closely at the download versions on the divx site,
basic divx bundle- free, no spyware
Divx Pro bundle- Free, but you have to put up with spyware
divx pro bundle with no spyware- you gots to dish out the cash.

the basic divx bundle will work for anybody that is just needing the codec so they can watch the videos, but if you want the shiny bells and whistles, you are outta luck, unless you want to shell out some cash(well, plastic actually)

I would produce a kit, but no one would buy it...And I don't want to be stuck doing tech support.

The complete mod list can be found in my signature below. Yes, I realise I have to change the graphic.

Gotta ask this question.

At the end of the 3rd video what are you drinking...if that's you.

I saw that now I want the whole story..yah the car video part was interesting....but what was in that dang blender?

Haha Bet you didn't notice that. Better than a homemade video of something else that we don't want to see haha.

The last frame in the video was left in by mistake. It was a commercial that my brother did for some class in high school...Don't remember exactly what was in the blender, but it was supposed to be some nasty drink.

Blender? It wouldn't happen to have been a Bass-O-Matic would it?

BTW GSL-SE injectors are 680cc/min in '84 and 720cc/min in '85.

When you say you light up the tires in second, do you mean immediately after the gear change, or could you let the revs climb high and floor it, resulting in ripping the tires loose?

Hey Yanks, do you seriously hear a canuck accent on Aaron?

It's funny, I don't hear an accent on most americans. Certain north eastern accents and southern accents are the only ones I notice.
