As far as I know, you'll just need the rotors as everything else matches up. You might need the TII apex seals, but that goes without saying.

It is actually a waste to put T2 rotors unless you are going to supercharge, turbocharge, or run nos on the engine extremely.

If you want to upgrade, I would go with 89-91 n/a rotors, they are lighter and have higher compression. Don't forget to match them up with the counter weight for front and back.

you will have less power using the TII rotors.

Actually we would put a TO4 on it as well...just need some advice on what parts are needed. BTW we also plan on using 3mm apex seals to help prevent blowing the engine.

the good thing about keeping the 2mm is if you blow the motor later and the apex gap in the rotor gets scratched or what have you
you fix the rotors by milling them to 3mm

VtekEater: Please private message me! I want to get info on or purchase one of your NA turbo adapters...

As far as putting TII rotors into an NA, they are a direct swap. As long as they are from the same series car (86-88 or 89-92) then they weigh the same and nothing else needs to be changed.

Well, actually the stationary gears are more durable and have more(?) windows in them for the passage of oil.

All stock 86-95 apex seals are the same.

Per RB and MZTX, rotors are different weights depending on series (86-88, 89-91, 93+) and whether NA or turbo.

I think the bearings, not the gears themselves, have more windows for oil, and that is only in the 93-up cars. It's one of the mods racers do, I think (not me).

Out of curiosity, why not just start with a TII motor?

Well we already have T2 motors transplanted and we are bored and want something to do to our old motors
I mean they are just sitting there, so why not.
