When I shift into 2nd gear from first, or from 3rd gear from second, it feels like the gears are still spinning. It almost feels like the gears are pushing back at the shifter! The shifter jumps a little, and it can't be good. Can this just be my shift bushings crapping out? I know I need new ones, I just don't have the $$$ right now to get new ones!

 

are you pusing the clutch pedal in all the way?... is the pedal adj right?

 

I believe I'm having a similar problem. When I shift gears, if I don't ride the shifter on the sides of the gate (especially when going into 3rd gear) I get grinding on what feels like a spinning gear. Its really wierd, sometimes i get it sometimes not. Sounds like what you're getting, or maybe your is different. Either way, an someome help us with our tranny difficulties?!

But then I have shift so damn slow! Just joking, yeah, and it seems like if I wait for a ywo count, it feels smoother. My old clutch was quicker, but it was OE and fried. Is this why it felt so smooth? How does one adjust the pedal?
