turbo2 or NA

I have just sold my old English taxi, finally. I have 5k to buy a new car and the 86-91 RX-7 caught my eye, along with a Honda Civic Hatchback. I have loved Hondas for about 4 years now and have always wondered about the RX-7 and their unique engine style. I have been looking around in the auto trader and found 2 different types of RX-7s that I like.

1987 turbo2
1988 turbo2
1991 NA model

And I would like to know which would be the best to buy?

Keep in mind that I will be auto crossing with a 2002 RSX Type-S, 2002 Civic Si, and a 1994 Civic Hatchback with a B18C5 (Integra type R) engine in it, about 192hp.

I don’t know if this is true, but is the availability for parts for the 1987 turbo2 as abundant as the availability for parts for a 1988 turbo2.

the 87 and 88 turbo II are the exact same.. so parts are the same...

the turbo II's will use more gas, higher insurancer, more mantainance, and higher chances of blowing stuff up. But ALOT more fun

If you dont know too much about Rotary powered vehicles or turbo cars in general, i would stick with the N/A. With a mean street port and a few mild mods here and there, some good suspension mods, it'll be almost untouchable on the track. What are the prices and conditions of these cars? you have the site address?

N/A can be a fun little race car to have
T2 is a much better performance car and can be faster in every aspect than the N/A.
