turbo2 check valve
hey all.. this is an easy one
on the 88 turbo, the large black intake funnel hose coming from the air meter, that connects to the turbo, there is a small vac line runing out of it,
{right below the larger bypass check valve ,vac line goes to the engine near the acv}
the smaller line right below this valve connects directly to the black funnel hose and then goes into the purge system.
about an inch away from the black funnel hose, where the like half inch tubing connects, is a silver check valve, with an arrow on it, since its only meant to be installed one way..
which way does it go? away from the funnel hose or towards the funnel hose?
It is easily viewable if you look down by the air meter, anyone who can verify its direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
cant find it in my microfiche,etc. I did a rebuild and its one of the bugs leftover.

hey thanks nz convertible, I appreciate that. I just posted a few seconds ago.
Sure enough, I had it backwards.
I see you have the intercooled logo by your name.
I have had mine only like 1 month. I pulled the engine,disasembled everything and steam cleaned the parts, so I could check over everything.
put it all back and it runs ok, now just working out a few bugs.
will post pics soon. The only other prob I had was a bac question.. also posted.
how does yours idle? also when I crank it over it cranks like 4 times, then I hear a whoosh,and then it starts.
Not bad but it could be better. GOing saturday to get new wires and plugs. Also belts, it still has original wires,belts. I will save them but need a better strting smoother running machine.
thanks again.
