Turbo water cooling

I just got my motor back today and need it running by the morning. It has FD housings which doesnt have the intake manifold coolant port.

How should I plumb the water for the turbo? I was think the cut the hardline on the turbo coolant pipe flair it and attach it to the front coolant out line.

either drill out the passage and blow the debris out of the engine or run it to the rear iron port, the front is a return and not a sufficient source.

your builder should have done this before assembling the engine so that it wouldn't require such measures.

Agreed on rear iron. I feel like the housing would require more than just drilling out...it would need a step for the o-ring to rest in to prevent coolant leaking as well.

I don't know how much you want to spend, but you can always tap into a radiator hose with an in line adapter

Rick Engman built the motor, he knows what he is doing. But he doesnt build too many motors that dont go into race cars or deal with stock set-ups.
