Turbo tranny into N/A???

will a turbo tranny work with an N/A? It's an '88 N/A GXL. Anyone have experience with this setup? Any known problems? Thanks.

Wondering the same thing... I know the drive shaft would have to be changed or modified, but what else?

in a reply from an email I got from mazdatrix here is the stuff I would need to replace

flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, driveshaft with the automatic version (or use the rear end from the turbo) and the front balancer.
I will check to see if I missed anything

Starter...although with some fabrication I believe you can still use the NA starter. The mounting points are slightly different I think.

Starter, clutch slave cylinder.

Front balancer? On the engine? Uhhhh... NO, I don't think that is right.
