****Harnesses can be had for 100 bucks all day long, why fool around with wire runs and cutting/splicing stuff**

A spool of wire 18/20 gauge wire can be had for three bucks. Another seven for solder or butt splices. Only one wire has any length to it and that is the boost sensor wire on a series four. The others are six inches to two feet. The other ninty bucks can be spent on more useful things or put in your 401K.

Banzi.... I'm stealing it.

EDIT: Wait.... ****. My old NA harness is an automatic harness. That's more work....

yup i did, my jdm s5 turbo motor came with a cut harness, so i used my s5 n/a harness the only thing i had to do is extend my tps plug 6 inches, havnt got around to running my knock sensor wire to the ecu (the technology of our knock sensors are real shitty so it doesnt even really work past 3000 rpm) i removed the rats nest, i just cut off the 5 vacuum solenoid plugs, and like posted above i installed a manual boost controller since the n/a harness doesnt have a plug for the turbo solenoid, the car has been running like a champ for 1 year now

good luck

Well, anyone want to **** in the dark and try to tell me why it won't start???

I'm 99% sure that this is a previous electrical grimlin coming back to bite me in the ***.... Because the car is getting fuel (I can hear the fuel pump running, and smell a light gas odor from the DP), it's getting a hell of a spark! I took the plug out put it in the plug wire, held it with pliers just a bit away from a a ground on the car. And there was the biggest spark I've ever seen, and it still knocked the **** out of my arm!!!!

And it's getting air.... So all that seems like it should go.

But back to the begining... Before I even started the turbo swap, the car would every now and then throw a fit, and just not start. You could leave it alone for about a day, come back, and it would start up like nothing happened. (this happened 3 times..., I never figured out what it was/is) And before I pulled the NA engine, it wouldn't start (I assume throwing this "electrical" fit again) So I just went on with pulling it, and I'm assuming that is what is stopping it from starting now.

But what can it be? I was thinking maybe the ignition switch, but my brother says no, because the starter turns over and, the brake lights/turn signals/backup lights..... all work. Could that be it? Does the "on" position have numberous points/wires for like the lights/engine?

Well, anyone's guess it as good as mine! So throw some idea's, and if I have the part in my gaurage, I'll replace it.

Need help..... I'm feeling.....

And ohhh jesus..... This thing sounds sweet!!!! It runs awsome, and I'm sure it will do better once I plug all the vacume leaks!
