Question Turbo swap questions

I have a 1986 GXL n/a that i have been working on to replace my old rotary rocket RIP, I plan to swap an s5 that i am having shipped to me and it comes with engine(duh), wiring harness, ecu, and a 5 speed but i need to know if the rest of the driveline ( differential, ect.) needs to be replaced. I know the tranny is weaker in the n/a's is but is the rest of the driveline?

from wat i've learned, though i could be wrong, is that you'd have to use the whole driveline from drive shaft to the rear end. correct me if im wrong?

just search. typically swaps from rotary to rotary are either using the same basic setup as before or turboing the rotary in varying ways. turbocharged from NA means swap drive train, but I'm guessing ~stock power NA to ~stock power NA wouldn't make much difference as far as the parts handling the power. now, compatibility is another matter, in which case idk.

well ive done the same thing

you dont need the s5 turbo harness, use your s4 harness youll need to splice two wires.
youll need a n332 or n333 ecu unless yu go stand alone, but if your in cali its a different story

nowww
once youve done the swap youll have to run premix since you swapped a s5 engine into an s4 car.

to not run premix and straight gasoline youll need to replace the water pump/housing, OMP pump/linkage, throttl body, thermostat/casing. All of these pieces will have to be s4 turbo. Ebay and mazdatrix will soon be your new bestfriend.
its alot of work im not gonna lie.

oh yessss, youll need to change the rear assembly or you can get a drive shaft built especially for these type of projects on mazdatrix.com
