turbo swap. opinions needed.

hey guys im ordering parts for a t2 swap. i bought a jspec engine and im gunna have it rebuilt. i wanna make around 300rwhp after the swap. now i was on ebay looking for a turbo. would a t04 be a good upgrade for the hp range? i know the stock s5 turbo is good up to 250 or so.

I just got a BNR stageIII, its got a t04 front section on it.. Bryan says its good for 350+ at 15 PSI.... The dyno will tell!!!

I went with a BNR because i already have a racing beat exhaust system and I didn't feel like cutting it up or having a new front exhaust section made as the BNR hybrids mount in the stock location and use the stock turbine housing so that the RB system will bolt right up.

If you go with an external wastegate type TO4... you will have to fabricate a custom exhaust stystem as well and get a different exhaust manifold as the stock one won't work. In the long run, its the better way to go, but its more expnesive and more labor intensive. I'll be upgrading next year!!!!

I think Jason at the RX7store.net is blowing out some Greedy kits right now.

I had a custon FMIC made and will have the pipe work welded up by this weeked. FMIC, Pipe, Couplers, Intake adapter and T-bolts cost me right around 500. Its not as large as the greedy and hopefully I souldn't have the cooling problems with it that some guys have been having with the greedy. If you want you can buzz over to york and have a look!
