i tried searching for a bit and found a guy that had the same problem as me, but he never got back to me.

i dont know if this is normal but here i go:

i have an s4 TII and when im at WOT, the rpm's rise slowly up until about 5100rpm's, then from 5100 to redline it's on steroids.

stock injectors, stock fp, fcd, 3in exhaust, hks downpipe, testpipe, stock s4 turbo with ported wg.

is this normal?

 

Well, despite a ported wastegate maybe you're creeping bad while hitting really stoich A/F ratios. I'm not entirely sure. What kind of boost are you seeing?

 

Upgrade fuel pump?
I'm surprised the engine hasn't blown up yet.

my boost is reading about 8 to 8.5 psi. the gauge is a bit off and doesnt look all too calibrated.

i just bought an fd fuel pump and i'll put it in whenever i get it.

lastly, my a/f gauge still reads rich at WOT before 5100 rpms and after 5100rpms

 

it feels like a honda below 5100..but anything after it feels fast

 

you need to check your twin scroll system.

 

Sounds like your wastegate is stuck open (maybe ported too far?) or your twin scroll is stuck shut.
