as for the oil feed line gasket u dont need to take out the turbo, u can leave it intact and replace it.

It's a stock CH.
You should not need to do this.

Dude, this is not the 3rd gen. section.
Why are you asking us in the 2nd gen. section?

Your turbos are a POS.
They need to be rebuilt.

Mileage doesn't mean anything.
I've heard of 5k miles on the stock twins puking oil.
They just plain suck.

look...im just asking for some troubleshooting help trying to find where the smoke is coming from..i know im a 3rd gen but turbos r pretty similar to the 2nd so can ya give a brotha a hand

- turbos work fine...boost perfect, no oil in any hoses including intercooler and bov, and absolutely no black/blue smoke under boost whatsoever..they were rebuilt 30k miles ago and the car is rarely driven hard

- recently i developed oil pan leak and about a week later i noticed smoke coming from under the hood after hard boost...no fuel smell, just a little bit of oil smelling/ burnt clutch smelling smoke from which i can tell is the turbo side of the engine, its soo little amount i can't see where exactly its coming from

- i got under the car today with a flashlight and looked at both oil drain pipes, no visible leakage, i can't see the oil intake pipes/ i dont know where they r

- where could this oil be burning from??

I still don't understand why you're threadjacking and then, on top of everything else, it does not belong in here.
You're better off asking the Single Turbo section?

You can change the oil feed and return gaskets without removing the turbocharger. The downpipe gasket is easy to change as well. But to change the turbine to exhaust manifold gasket you of course have to remove the turbo.

50 Euros is a good price for this gasket. They generally go for between $60 and $85 US.

I'm talking about the gasket between the downpipe and the turbo. and that's £50 GBP not euros.

How about cutting my own gaskets for the turbo oil return and feed? there a few products out there to use. are they any good?
