Turbo Rebulid Kit
I just bought a 88 T2 and I think that the turbo needs to be rebuilt. The car smokes on startup and when you get on the gas. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughs on any other possible causes and if anyone knew where I can get a rebuild kit for the turbo.

What does the Turbo shaft do when you attempt to move it by hand? How does it rotate when spun by hand? See my thread on rebuilding the stock turbo, answers are there
