Turbo Questions

Ok, I am interested on purchasing a TII. I have a few questions though. First what is a decent price for one? Like I see this one that is near me but it seems kinda expensive. I I was going to buy that car what would be a good price to offer for it?

http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...&car_year=1988

Second, lets say I get a TII, what kind of mods should I do? I hear alot of peopel talk about getting BOV's, gauges and such but I was planning on keeping the car stock and not increasing boost, what should I get and about how much would it be?

Last, about how much does it cost to rebuild/replace an engine and turbo if they go out?

price really depends on the condition of the car and the cost of the amount of "aftermarket" parts put on...but i'd say that anywhere from $1000(poor condition) to $5000 (good condition) would be about right.

$7000 is a little much for me....

if you're going to keep it "stock" just get aftermarket gauges (i.e. boost, water temp, etc) because the stock ones are the best...

and the cost to rebuild an engine range anywhere from $1k to $5k depending on where you're getting the engine from and what other goodies you're getting with the rebuild (i.e. new rotor housings, porting, etc)

the turbo on the other hand...well, you and have the stock ones rebuild for under $1k

I would not buy it, here's the reason : "1988 MAZDA RX-7, turbo II, 4 cyl 5 spd, 2 dr, " Keywords? 4 cyl. I would not buy an RX-7 from someone that didn't even know the engine..Plus it's very overpriced.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure that theres no option for "2 rotor" engine on auto trader.
