ok were should i build boost right now im getting boots between 3500 and 4000 is that were i should be building boost or should it be starting sooner

I know your confusion.
Those values are approximately OK.
The dash boost & temp gauges are like a 2nd hand version of what the ECU thinks.
An aftermarket mechanical gauge will be more responsive, more accurate, & in PSI vs. mmHg.
