turbo pushing 12-14 psi in upper intake

turbo pushing 12-14 psi in upper intake

i hooked up my boost guage finally, and its pushing 12-14 psi in the upper intake manifold... the old gage was hooked up to the intercooler piping and measured 22... so 12 psi isn't so bad, and my motors running great with 3k on it

well it might have been doing 22 for real before, it was on the previous motor... now its only doing 12, i haven't seen 22 on this motor

nor do i want to see 22... 12 is fine! my 720 cc secondaries can handle that ok, so can my IC

I think he is saying on his last motor his boost read 22psi for some reason, but on this one with a different tap for the gauge it reads 12psi...still sounds weird, if this is the same gauge you used previously I'd test another one just to be sure it's working the right way
