turbo problems, need some help
recently my turbo has been sounding terrible. Instead of that beautiful whirr of the turbo spooling up, it just sounds ratty, like it's dragging while turning or something. It still gets the same boost it was getting before, it just sounds like hell. As a side note, I replaced my secondary injectors with 720cc's last year and ever since I did that my turbo builds up pressure and starts to spool before getting over 3500-4000 rpms. could this be a contributing factor to the problems i'm having with my turbo, and also, do any of you have suggestions of what is wrong with my turbo and how i could fix it?
thanks,
kev

No, the injectors aren't going to make a difference unless you have them adjusted with some sort of ECU. Otherwise, you'll just be running rich.
To me atleast, it sounds like the bearings in the turbo are letting go. Take off the TID and check for play at the turbo.

EDIT: Your turbo should be spooling around 2.7K boost around 3K, for stock atleast (mine )

injector control
no, i don't have a way of controling them, I was just told, through asking various people, that beefier secondary injectors would make my car faster in the higher end. I put on a new air intake setup, so it is getting oxygen to match the richness, but I do not have any way of controling the secondaries.
