Well i drove my car really hard about 4 nights ago and today for the first time i gave it into full boost and the turbo kinda sounded like a window was open a bit..u know that sound?? it wasnt making the higher pitch wistle at 5500 to 6500 rpms...

i havent noticed and power loss or gain yet though..any ideas of that the problems could be..cracked tid?or did i just free it up more because i have only had the car for 2 and a bit months and the old owner didnt drive it hard at all..

 

Definitely didnt free anything up. You probably cracked something or blew something off.

 

ye amaybe..i havent noticed a powerloss yet though...it seems like it might even be a little quicker..

i have been looking for that alsi but i havent seen anything..i will have to get some one to look when they r driving behind me..

 

if you want to be extra sure the turbo is good take off the TID and check the turbo for play. What kind of exhaust do you have?

 

everything is stock..right now i have the air pump on so its hard to get do the turbo to check..

 

there is a possiblity the cat is starting to clog or something...happened to my friends car and it made it a lot harder to hear the turbo spool

 

sounds like some kinda boost leak to me. check all your lines and stuff.
