last night i ported my wastegate, but in taking apart the turbo i needed to heat up the hot-side to get it off because it was being stubborn.
I was also heating the center section a bit --

would there be any risk in damaging the seals?
I first just went at it because its a turbo, they get freakin hot! but later remebered i did not have oil or water in it to keep other stuff cool...
