I think it would be easier and cheaper to just swap in a 13BT (Turbo model 13B engine)... but you can't do that for $1,000.00

Be sure that your car is in good working condition before you modfiy it. That maye be some cash right there. You could look at a good exhaust system and intake. Maybe suspension, if you would rather have good handling.

There are four spark plugs on the right side of the engine (looking at the front of the engine). You need two leading and two trailing spark plugs. They ARE different. Anyway, look in your owner's manual. My 1987 GXL uses either... NGK -LEADING: SD10A & TRAILING: SD11A or Nippon Denso - LEADING S-29A & TRAILING S-31A. They may be different for your 1990 GXL.

1/4 mile times may vary. Depends on compression, mods, etc. *SEARCH a bit more.

No offense, but you're asking for too much now... you will find all of that information by searching or reading the FAQ's section.

dude, get the FSM. It tells you everything. Or else buy a haynes....the FSM is free (the Faq has it.)......such a waste of thread space......NOS is cheap, except you have to run the fuel for it (SAFC). search, and search more. I almost never post on here. All I do is read and search. I suggest doing the same, as people around here "don't take kindly to strangers in these haere parts".

Edit: you want to run NOS/ turbo, and you don't even know how many spark plugs there are? Slow down HAUS!

You are going to find two things here:

1) A lot of help for random or rarely seen questions

2) A lot of people who have been around since the start of this board who have heard the newb questions hundreds, if not thousands, of times. The FC is AT LEAST 16 yrs old now. About everything has been covered. The search button is your friend. If you are searching for something obscure then asking about it is ok. However if you dont search first you will get replies much like this.

The Fatory Service manual (FSM) can be found in the FAQ section. It has ALL KINDS of general information and adjustment information about the FC. Take a look there, then search and if you still cant find an answer then post for it.

OK, I think we've covered all the bases here.

All questions asked are well documented in the FAQ and Archives.

Things like the number and locations of spark plugs can be found in the Factory Service Manual, which is a free download available in the FAQ.
